Over time, Merry Glen has worked to develop a staff culture of inclusion, personal responsibility and team effort. Caregiving is hard work, and we are fortunate to have a Team that is here because they WANT to be and share the values of our Loved Ones and families.
We have a low staff turnover. While some of our entry level positions experience more rapid churn than others. Our Leadership Team of 5 has combined Merry Glen experience of over 50 years.
As a Supported Living provider under contract with the state, we experienced two cuts in funding, in 2009 and 2010. These funds have never been reinstated meaning our staff lose money for every month they work here. Learn more about this important JUSTICE issue here.
We have a Physical Therapist in twice monthly who supervises the daily PT performed.
