Everyone Belongs at Merry Glen, and this is a great place to serve…

Our employees excel and are rewarded based on their performance in 4 key areas as well as how long they stay with us:

1) Kindness and Caring…
2) Reliability
3) Skills
4) Teamwork.

Come see if this is the right place for you.

Volunteers play an important role for our Loved Ones, offering supporting community contacts and fun activities with those who like to feel themselves in service.

We invite you to join our mailing list and keep informed of what’s happening here. We’ll let you know about our big events and get special invitations

Merry Glen understands the future of Long Term Support and Services depends not on providers or regulators, it depends on PEOPLE, caregivers who offer up themselves to make life better for others.

Is there a better thing to do with your life?

The Merry Glen team operates under Four Key Values

1)   Kindness and Caring

2)   Reliability

3)   Skills

4)   Teamwork

These values get translated into how we review one another, how bonuses are set, and provide a clear path of expectation for every worker.

Over time, Merry Glen has worked to develop a staff culture of inclusion, personal responsibility and team effort.  Caregiving is hard work, and we are fortunate to have a Team that is here because they WANT to be and share the values of our Loved Ones and families.

We have a low staff turnover.  While some of our entry level positions experience more rapid churn than others.  Our Leadership Team of 5 has combined Merry Glen experience of over 50 years.

As a Supported Living provider under contract with the state, we experienced two cuts in funding, in 2009 and 2010.  These funds have never been reinstated meaning our staff lose money for every month they work here.  Learn more about this important JUSTICE issue here.

We have a Physical Therapist in twice monthly who supervises the daily PT performed.
