The Story of Merry Glen
In 1961 a group of Spokane Families got together to create the foundation of Merry Glen
And in 1973 Merry Glen opened its doors to support
all of the families that fought for humane
and comfortable alternatives to institutionalization

Families of individuals with intellectual/developmental disability needing residential services find a welcoming environment at Merry Glen.
The cooperative model ensures families participate in their loved ones’ lives while supporting specialized and professional care in a home setting.
